  • Awesome bar tenders! Between the inside and outside bar, every single worker smiled and welcomed our group. On top of that, the drinks were amazing and you could tell the bartenders are trained well. Presentation was awesome! Disregard my photo as I had already taken a few sips! Couldn’t wait.

  • The Long Goodbye derives it's inspiration and motif from the 1973 film noir of the same name. Step into the cozy little MCM bar and you feel like the main character in your own movie with the dim lights and a full bar to drown your sorrows or celebrate your wins. The bar is well equipped with everything a discerning bar patron could want as well as a few things you didn't know you needed. All this delivered with friendly service and maybe some classic country music playing or perhaps some 60s or 70s jazz. Every now and again you might hear some old school hip-hop and r&b if you're lucky, as well! Let's call that the late night vibes. The bartenders are all sincere and friendly, knowledgable about their craft and quick with the drinks. If there isn't something on the menu that pleases you they are happy to concoct something to your liking or suggest something new- classic or otherwise. There are also non-alcoholic bevvys available for those of us looking to keep our wits about us but still enjoy a night out with friends. The prices are fair with happy hour featuring $6 cocktails, Mondays offering $3.50 draft beers, Wednesdays are for wine with half off bottles and they take care of service industry workers with a generous discount! It's a pretty new establishment (about 8 months old) so you can still catch a quiet corner or an off-hour where you get the whole place to yourself. That definitely won't be the case for long so I suggest you bring your bestie or your new softly-launched boo to come cuddle in this cute little bar. Great first date spot or good for a large gathering like a work happy hour or birthday get together due to the expansive and welcoming patio area. This is sure to be a neighborhood staple soon so get in before it's cool so you can say you were one of the original regulars <3 There's excellent coffee and tea from fleet outside as well as scrumptious tacos from La Santa Barbacha; recently winning a bib gourmand from the Michelin crew. They even have a sweet little vintage shop on the edge of the property and you're welcome to peruse the racks with a cocktail in hand. There's a back entrance that connects to they yard area so it's easily accessible. I highly encourage you to check out The Long Goodbye where you will quickly be saying hello again and again.

  • Happy Hour special is the best I’ve seen in Austin! $3 Wells and $6 cocktails. Outside area is suitable for kids and pretty spacious.

  • This place has such a nice outdoor vibe with lots of outside seating and an inside lounge area. Although I haven’t tried the food here, they have several food trucks available. Me and my friend got a frozen marg which was about $12 bucks and was very tasty! Will def be back.

  • This is a standout neighborhood bar that could benefit from getting a little more aggressive / competitive with their happy hour. I'm not asking for much, but with Santa Catarina and Sour Duck in close proximity, a better happy hour could go a long way in terms of the frequency that I visit it. That being said, it's got one of the best patios in Austin and is a great place to meet up with friends on a Sunday afternoon or weekday night. I love that this place exists on Manor!
